Your choice, explained simply.

The GreenTech Inner Circle sends occasional product alerts inside the Second Life® virtual world. You choose whether to join, stay, or leave.

Why Did I Receive This?

If you received a GreenTech Inner Circle invitation or an in-world notification, your avatar appeared in Green Tech’s own documented relationship records, such as a previous subscription, Green Tech event, collaboration, or official group connection.

We do not buy resident lists or collect random Second Life profiles. If you do not want future alerts, you can leave at any time.

To make Join and Leave work, the Inner Circle uses the Second Life account name you provide, your avatar UUID, and your membership choice. It does not ask for your email, real-world name, payment information, password, private messages, or chat content.

How to Join or Leave

1. To Join: open the Inner Circle form, enter your Second Life account name and UUID, check the confirmation box, and select Join Inner Circle.
2. To Leave: enter your avatar UUID in the Leave form, check the confirmation box, and select Leave Inner Circle. When the request succeeds, future alerts stop.
3. In-world: visit Green Tech, touch the official VIP Panel, and choose Join or Leave. The panel recognizes the avatar who touched it.

Finding Your Account Name and UUID

Use your Second Life account name, not a custom Display Name. A single-word username may also appear with Resident as the last name, such as John Resident.

In many viewers, open your profile menu and choose Copy UUID or Copy Key. Paste that 36-character value into the UUID field. If you prefer, use the in-world VIP Panel and nothing needs to be copied.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You remain in control. You can join, leave, or change your choice at any time. We do not sell, rent, or trade the Inner Circle member list.

When you leave, your UUID stays marked as opted out so your choice remains respected and an older record cannot turn alerts back on by mistake.

Privacy rights available under applicable law remain yours. Official information is available from the ANPD privacy-rights guide, Brazil’s LGPD, and, where applicable, the European Union’s GDPR.

Self-Service and In-World Help

You do not need to send an email or open a support ticket to join or leave. Use the forms on the home page or touch the official VIP Panel in-world.

If a form or panel does not work, visit Green Tech in-world and use the normal in-world support or notecard information available there.

If the Inner Circle changes, this page may be updated so the explanation remains accurate. The current version and date will always appear here.
